These are always weird to me. Mostly because I hate talking about myself. Also, because I feel like they should be written like a press release but I AM NOT talking about myself in the third person. Wait…that might be funny. Let’s give this a try…lol.
Kerry Prince is a creative and adventurous artist with a passion for feeding people.
Chef Prince credits his parents and grandmother as the spark of his culinary passion. Originally hailing from North Carolina and a large family; the kitchen has always been a haven of love and comfort.
After college, Kerry worked for several major corporations such as Bank of America, AMEX and AT&T to name a few. All the while, finding fulfillment cooking for friends and family.
In search for more fulfillment, Chef Prince engaged in and engorged himself with everything “food.” Taking classes and poring over culinary school textbooks purchased online. Hours spent chopping random vegetables to practice knife cuts. Countless tutorial videos.
All for one thing.
Spurred by the link of family health history in relation to diet and Kerry’s own 50 pound weight loss; he dedicated himself to finding healthy alternatives to the delicious staples he grew up with in the South.
Chef Prince relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 where he quickly immersed himself in the vast culinary landscape. He has since gone on to appear on Season 6 of Fox’s MasterChef finishing as a Top 12 finalist. It was that experience that spurned Kerry to leave his career in Human Resources and pursue a life in the culinary world full time.
Kerry has also cooked for celebrities such as David Tutera, Kaitlin Olson, Rae Sremmurd and major brands like Snapchat and The Real Housewives of Hollywood.
